Terms of Use

By using Share by Code, you agree to the following terms.

Purpose

This site lets you share a file or a text message temporarily using a short access code. Files are limited to 10MB and messages are limited to 5,000 characters.

Limits

Uploads are limited to 10MB per file, and uploads are rate-limited to 30 per hour from the same network or device. A shared code expires after 5 minutes, or immediately once the file has been downloaded or the message has been opened. Previewing a file does not delete it.

Acceptable use

Do not upload illegal content, malware, or content that infringes on someone else's rights. We may remove content or block access at any time.

No warranty

This service is provided as-is, without guarantees of availability or data retention.
